Air conditioning unit | recirculated air cooling module unit

Marchhart has developed a recirculated air cooling module as an air conditioning unit. This module is an independently operating system suitable especially for removal of heat loads and particle reduction in laboratories and clean rooms.
In combination with a heating and cooling coil, two filtering stages and a HEPA filter stage this air conditioning unit/ recirculated air cooling module is suitable for use in clean rooms.

Areas of application pursuant to the standards EN ISO 14644, ÖNORM H6020, DIN 1946-4 for medical purposes respectively VDI 2083 and for all clean rooms as set forth by the Directive PIC/S_PE 009-11.

The standard version of the recirculated air cooling module is designed as a ceiling unit for installation in the false ceiling, however it can also be vertically installed (wall installation, technical room).

Air conditioning unit design

An airtightly welded aluminium housing structure with a separate control cabinet for control of the module.
Our Marchhart recirculated air cooling module is equipped with the major functional air treatment components (prefilter, silencer, cooler, HEPA filter, optional heater). Integration of the heat exchanger provides heat removal from laboratories and production zones. Comfortable and quick installation and deinstallation of the fluff separator is facilitated by the "EASY-CLICK" clamping system whereby no tools are required (including fall protection).

Optionally, our air conditioning unit can be additionally equipped with a control panel or information panel signalling information directly on the module.

Explosion protection

If required, the recirculated air cooling module can be designed with increased explosion protection compliant with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU (for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22).

One of the following diffuser elements are mounted flush with the ceiling on the visible side:

  • Perforated sheet diffuser
  • Swirl diffuser
  • Nozzle diffuser
  • Mesh diffuser
