3-component inclined supply air screen at the St. Josefshospital Krefeld hospital
This 3-component inclined supply air screen is a special design with a fresh and recirculated air duct behind it.
Modernisation of three operating theatres to H1b room class is planned at the Malteser St. Josefshospital in Krefeld. In the course of the first construction phase we equipped operating theatre 1 with a 3-component inclined supply air screen in special design with a fresh and recirculated air duct with a plenum behind it.
Additionally, we installed a recirculated air wall module with cooler, pre-filter, suction noise absorber, fluff separator, electric damper, LED signal light and dew point sensor as well as control cabinet for recirculated air modules, equipped amongst others with “night hours reduction” (of fresh air only), pre-filter and HEPA filter monitoring (through differential pressure switch). The installed control cabinet is already designed for the extension during the next two construction phases “operating theatre 2" and “operating theatre 3”.
