33 operating theatres in Linköping, Sweden already equipped – in a clinic with clear vision!
The university clinic in Linköping has been in transition since 2009. The vision – a future university clinic where healthcare, research and training come together in a modern environment.
The required extensive renovation and new construction work has been ongoing since and will continue in the future. The university clinic in Linköping currently has around 540 beds and over 5,700 staff and is leading in the areas of emergency care, imaging, patient safety and diabetes in children. The high quality care is frequently referred to as “internationally leading edge”.
Marchhart was also able to contribute our share to this vision – as of end of 2018 we equipped 33 operating theatres with LAF supply air ceilings and three prep rooms.
Normally the operating theatres are equipped with LED bar backlighting, recirculated air wall modules (some with cooling) and control cabinets for the recirculated air modules. The recently completed operating theatre, thorax operating theatre and “Lab 1 Seldingerenheten” have been equipped with LAF ceilings (one in constructionally centred three-point mounting design) – and are all state-of-the-art.
