Inclined supply air screens with sandwich cladding to provide radiation protection

This project involved restructuring of a room where digital subtraction angiography (DSA) (left heart catheterisation measuring station) is performed; we equipped this room with special inclined screen systems with a mixing duct for fresh air respectively recirculated air proportion behind it as well as a recirculated air wall module with cooling (to support respectively increase the air volume). Operations continued while this DSA room was reconstructed in the heart of the clinic. One of the two inclined screen systems was installed into a partition wall and encased with sandwich cladding including lead screening so that radiation protection remains intact.
