Recirculated air ceiling systems for Alexianer St. Hedwig Kliniken Berlin

The hospital is the oldest catholic hospital in Berlin and symbolises tradition with a future. In the course of extending and modernising the clinic we equipped four operating theatres with recirculated air ceiling systems with integrated cooling.

We used LAF recirculated air ceilings type Ma-LF-ZP 2.4 x 2.4 m/H14/DUM 1250-4/KÜ 5.09kW per operating theatre (three systems) and type Ma-LF-ZP 3.2 x 3.2 m/H14/DUM 1250-8/KÜ 10.24kW per operating theatre (one system) with horizontal filtering layer in H14 filter class, appropriate fans, collecting ducts with integrated cooling coils (designed for “dry cooling”), suction modules and corresponding control cabinets. The ambient lighting frames guarantee optimal illumination of the operating area and comfortable lighting conditions. A total of thirteen triangular and three rectangular extraction air cabinets with type Ma-FA-ECCO-LINE fluff separators with the "EASY-CLICK" system along with F7 class pre-filters positioned behind them were installed in the four operating theatres, with the installation taking up as little space as possible.
